The Road to Life is always under construction, or so it seems. Curves, hills, valleys, inclement weather, detours, potholes, and impaired drivers all combine to make the trip a jumble of beautiful sights, dangerous close calls, tests of patience, bone-jarring, nerve wracking encounters with other drivers, and finally, ultimate relief as we arrive at our destination.
Along the roadway there are basic signs, signals, and markings to assist drivers. Teens dislike being "told what to do all the time," but consider what chaos would abound if there were no directional signs on our highways. In today's fst-paced world where no one waits his turn, imagine the pile-ups at every intersection because of people who think their time is more valuable than others' or that they should always be first in line. Consider the disastrous effects of a truck with a load piled too high, if the dirver ignored the height limitations signs on an overpass.
In this class your child will learn what the "Keys to the Kingdom" are and how to get those keys. |
