From the Teacher Our Nursery class provides both excitement and enlightenment for the children in our care. Through interactive methods the children are engaged with staff in an effort to not only entertain while parents and guardians are participating in the Adult service but to begin the education of their minds and discipleship of their hearts.
No one can love like children. It is our desire to help them learn to love God.
Hours: Sundays from 10:30 am to noon.

Location: The Nursery is located next to the main sanctuary in the youth activities building east of the main sanctuary.
Ages: Birth through 4 years old
Many toddlers are just becoming aware of the health clinic as a place where they receive their immuniztions. This Quarter, the children will learn how jesus helps us when we are afraid. What Children see, hear, taste, touch and smell determines what they learn. The children will learn how their mouths can be used for singing to God. Their mouths should be used for singing good songs to God. They will also learn the concept of giving and sharing.
This Quarter we will focus on teaching the Children about how special they are to so many people, but especially to God. They will learn about the things we see in nature that God made for us that make us feel special. We will also teach them that talking to God in Prayer is more important than anything.
The children will have a variety of games to play to teach them of their senses and how to care for the things around them. |

Each child should have a Care Information Sheet on file so that all nursery workers are aware of food allergies and/or other special needs.
Please provide diapers, wipes and a change of clothes in a labeled diaper bag for those children who are in diapers. Please also consider bringing a snack and/or beverage for your child to have during their visit.
We prefer that children do not bring their own toys as this may cause distractions with other children.
This nursery is a ministry to our youngest attendees and we strive to make it a life-giving and fun place for them. If you have suggestions on how we can improve our care, or if you have further questions, please do not hesitate to let us know.

Life in the Nursery Our caregivers are eager to bring the story of God's love to your children. During their visit, each child will participate in a Bible lesson given by our caregivers.
Children are a gift from God. And God has entrusted us with their care and nurture. We, as the Body of Christ here at The Pentecostals of Lake Wales, believe that "it takes a whole congregation to nurture a child in faith."

Health Standards It is our prayer that all of our children are in good health at all times. However, when symptoms are present, bringing children out and having them around other children is unfair to both your child and the other children. Please do not bring your child to the nursery if he or she is displaying signs of sickness.
Certification Our Nursery care workers have been fingerprinted along with FBI background checks. They have also completed a "Teacher's Certification" course, and "Act to Keep Childrens Ministry Safe" course.
